Introduction

Long Haul

The SCA may grant rebates on canal tolls in cases when operators apply for special "long haul rebates". Applications should be submitted through SEAPACE by completing the rebate request form, special attention should be given to our information sheet giving procedures for same.

The Suez Canal Authority rebates are valid for 2 months from application date. We recommend early application when a voyage is planned, in order to allow time for negotiation of rebate. Minimum application date is 3 days prior vessels sailing loading/discharging port.
